Today in Russia, WNBA star Britney Griner was back in a Moscow courtroom. Her pre-trial detention was extended another month following a brief hearing.
The 31-year-old American has been in custody for nearly 3 months after vape cartridges containing cannabis oil were allegedly found in her luggage at Moscow’s airport.
The US state department said she has been wrongfully detained, but doing as well as can be in these exceedingly difficult circumstances.
