Our body has many organs that help us stay healthy and alive. The brain is like the boss and helps us think, learn, and control our body. The heart pumps blood, and the lungs help us breathe by taking in oxygen and releasing carbon dioxide. In the stomach, food is broken down into smaller pieces, while the liver cleans blood and helps digest food. The kidneys act as filters, removing waste and extra water. The intestines complete the process: the small intestine takes nutrients from food, and the large intestine removes waste. These organs work as a team to give us energy and keep us alive every day!
