In English, we use months and dates to talk about birthdays, events, and seasons.
There are 12 months in a year.
We always write months with a capital letter: ''January'' not ''january''.
To talk about the date, we can say:
''My birthday is on March 5th.''
''School starts in September.''
We use ''in'' for months and ''on'' for exact dates.
