What's New With The Figure 03 Humanoid?

The new humanoid robot Figure 03 has been designed to help with everyday life at home. It can step off its charging stand, walk, and perform simple household tasks such as doing laundry or putting dishes in the dishwasher. It also tidies rooms, serves drinks, plays with pets, and folds clothes. The robot has a soft and safer exterior with removable, machine-washable clothing that protects people and furniture during movement. New cameras in its palms allow it to pick up objects that are not visible from the main head cameras. The robot’s autonomy is still developing, as it can work with limited human supervision but not completely alone. Safety improvements include foam at pinch points, and its lighter weight and smaller size make it easier to move around in homes. Figure has also shown that the robot can be used in logistics and hospitality environments. The company plans to increase production through its BotQ manufacturing facility, which could produce up to 12,000 robots every year. Figure 03 represents a new step toward practical humanoids that combine safety, design, and flexibility for both domestic and professional use.
