AI videos can look very real. Here are simple tips to help you check. First, watch faces and hands. Do the eyes blink in a natural way? Are the teeth, ears, or fingers a strange shape? If yes, it may be AI. Next, look for smooth or “perfect” movement. Real life is a little messy: water splashes in different ways, hair moves in the wind, and people make small mistakes. If the motion is too clean or too fast, be careful.
Listen to the sound. Is the voice a bit flat, too even, or out of sync with the lips? Are crowd or street noises missing? That is a red flag. Check light and shadows: do they match the time of day and the position of the sun or lamps? Look at reflections in windows or water—AI often forgets these details.
Pause the video. In single frames, you may see glitches: strange textures, extra fingers, or odd letters on signs. Also read the caption and check the source. Does a reliable news site show the same clip? Can you find the original video or creator?
Finally, ask yourself: is the scene too extreme to be true? If it feels “too perfect,” verify before you share.
