When we describe someone, we often talk about their face and hair.
• Men can have different facial hair styles:
A beard covers the chin and cheeks
A moustache is hair above the upper lip
A goatee is a small beard on the chin
A soul patch is a small patch of hair below the lower lip
• We also describe hair:
Long or short hair
Curly hair has tight curls
Straight hair has no curves
Wavy hair has gentle curves
• People change as they grow:
A toddler is a very young child who's learning to walk
A child or kid is young, usually under 12
A teenager is between 13 and 19
A young adult is in their 20s or early 30s
An adult or grown-up is fully developed
Elderly people are old, usually over 65
