The repetition recipe for a hit

The topic of this lesson is the formula for making hit songs. Students will learn vocabulary from a video on the use of repetition in music. Then they will do a reading on some of the features of hits. The language point is on anaphora, a kind of repetition commonly used in lyrics. Students will have the opportunity to discuss songs they like and dislike. There is an optional extension or homework task to write lyrics themselves.
