New people

In this lesson, students look at what to say when meeting new people. First, they talk about people they’ve met recently, then look at some collocations for talking about themselves. They then listen to a conversation at a party and do some comprehension tasks. They also look at using present simple and continuous to talk about themselves. Moving on to speaking, they role-play a party where they get to know other people. Finally, they use all the language learnt to talk about themselves.
