Speaking from the queue to see the Queen lying in state, David Beckham said he appreciated the time he had shared with members of the public there.
The former professional footballer, who had been queuing for twelve hours, said he wanted to "celebrate the amazing life of our Queen".
David Beckham had the chance to use a special access queue to pay his respects to the late Queen Elizabeth II, but he declined it, it has been reported.
