Controversy with Kanye at Paris Fashion Week

No stranger to it, Kanye West sparks controversy, this time with shirts sporting the phrase “White Lives Matter" at Paris Fashion Week. He posed with the polarizing conservative commentator Candice Owens.

The Anti-Defamation League condemns the saying as white-supremacist, being borne out of a racist response to the Black Lives Matter movement.

Journalist Kamil Hill says, “So many folks are trying to excuse Kanye wearing a White Lives Matter T-shirt as just a troll move or marketing, but it's a dangerously dumb message to send for someone with his massive platform.”
