Little Italy, situated in Manhattan's Lower East Side, New York, stands as the most renowned Italian enclave globally. During the early 20th century, about 90% of Italian immigrants entered the US through this neighborhood. De Palos, an Italian food shop, has thrived for 113 years, managed by descendants Lou De Palo, the co-owner, who shared his family history in this video. The food shop, now run by the fourth generation including Lou's sister, brother, and children, has expanded to represent all 20 Italian regions' culinary culture.
