Long ago, milk was bad for adults. People made cheese because it had less lactose and could be stored. Some humans changed and could drink milk as adults. This helped them become farmers instead of hunters.
We mostly drink cow's milk because cows are easy to keep and give a lot of milk. But after age 8, most people in the world can't drink milk well. Only some people, mostly from Europe and Africa, can drink milk easily.
Milk might cause health problems like stomach issues, headaches, and skin problems. We're told milk is good for bones because of calcium, but that's not the whole story. Other things like sunlight and how we live are important too. We can get calcium from other foods like fish, beans, and green vegetables.
