The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced its 2025 inductees, and the list includes some big names in music history. Among the new members are pop legend Cyndi Lauper, rap duo Outkast, rock bands Soundgarden and the White Stripes, as well as Bad Company and Chubby Checker, known for his 1960s hit ''The Twist.'' Singer Joe Cocker also joins the Hall of Fame posthumously.
Some artists made it in on their first time being nominated, including Bad Company, Chubby Checker, and Outkast. However, other well-known acts like Oasis, The Black Crowes, Billy Idol, and Phish were not selected this year. These artists will have to wait until a future nomination round.
In addition to the regular inductees, Salt-N-Pepa will receive the Musical Influence Award. The official ceremony will be held on November 8th at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. As always, the results sparked debate, with fans hoping their favorite artists will be honored next year.
